Australia's jumbo IPL contingent - including players, supporters and commentators - had a great relief on Monday when they met with their family members following a 14-day hotel split in Sydney. An 38-member Australian group arrived in the country a few weeks ago, after stopping in the Maldives due to a travel ban imposed by the Australian government.
It was an emotional moment for the players when they met their family members. Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Pat Cummins met his pregnant partner, Becky Boston. A video of their reunion was shared on social media by well-known Australian sports journalist Chloe-Amanda Bailey, in which an emotional Cummins could be seen hugging Becky who couldn’t control her tears.
